When we read the Bible, we need to remember that God didn’t tell us everything about himself all at once. We don’t usually find one chapter that fully deals with a topic. Instead, we have to compare Scripture with Scripture.
That’s why it’s important not to neglect any part of the Bible. Often Christians will ignore the Old Testament and only focus on the New Testament. But we can’t properly understand the New Testament without understanding its foundation in the Old. And we can’t properly understand the Old Testament without the New Testament. You need both!
