Some people claim Jesus never existed but was just made up by the disciples.
But consider that Jesus’ disciples each suffered for their faith. Eleven of them were martyred for refusing to denounce Jesus as the risen Lord. The twelfth suffered and was exiled for his testimony about Christ.
Now, people will suffer and die for something they think is true, but is actually a lie. But no sane person would suffer and die for something they knew was a lie. If the disciples had invented Jesus and his resurrection, would they really have been willing to suffer and die for it?
Their testimony is clear: Jesus really lived, died, and rose again.
