In my conversations with atheists, I’ve had many of them say that if they just had more evidence for God’s existence, they’d believe. But, do they really mean that?
I find that, no, they don’t. When I give them evidence that confirms there’s a Creator behind life and the universe—such as DNA—they just claim it’s not evidence and just interpret it through their secular worldview.
I’ve had them say, “if there’s a God, why doesn’t he come and show himself?” Well, I respond, “he did! And they crucified him.”
Yes, the problem isn’t the evidence. The issue is the heart.
So, what can we do to reach them? Well, that’s for tomorrow.
