Why are we sinners?
Why did Jesus need to die?
What is marriage?
Are we male and female?
And the list goes on! To fully answer any of these questions, you need to go back to the history God’s given us in Genesis. That history is foundational to our doctrine.
And Genesis is also foundational for understanding biology, astronomy, geology, anthropology, and more. The Bible’s history provides the framework for interpreting the world around us.
As we’ll see all this week, Genesis is so important!
