Homology—Evidence for Evolution?

When we look around us, we see many similarities between living things. This is called “homology.” It’s often used by evolutionists as evidence of descent from a common ancestor.

But just because things are similar doesn’t mean they had a common ancestor! A car is more similar to a bicycle than a boat, but this doesn’t mean they share a common ancestor. They look similar because they were designed for a similar purpose—and to function in a similar environment.

It’s the same in the living world. Living things were all made by a common Designer to live in the same world and accomplish the same basic things. So, God just used a similar design!
