As we’ve seen this week, we’re in a war—a war against God’s image bearers. Our enemy hates those that God has “fearfully and wonderfully made,” and he wants to see them all destroyed.
So, what’s the solution—how do we fight in this war? With the weapons God’s given us: his armor, including prayer and God’s Word and the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Ephesians chapter six says, “Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood.”
And take heart as you fight. We know how it ends! Christ is victorious!
