Off the coast of Mexico, deep in the ocean, is a massive crater. It was made by an asteroid seven miles wide! It’s this asteroid that’s believed to have wiped out the dinosaurs. Now, how should we understand this in biblical history?
Well, this massive space rock hit earth during the global flood. It would’ve caused devastation we can’t even imagine. But remember that God sent the flood to destroy the earth except the life that was saved aboard the ark.
Yes, earth was devastated in the past as a judgment on sin. And there’s another judgment coming, this time by fire. But God offers salvation through his Son, Jesus.
