This week we’ve seen there’s no evidence for the idea of “feathered” dinosaurs. And that’s just what we’d expect, starting with God’s Word!
The Bible teaches that birds and dinosaurs aren’t related. The bird “kinds” were created on day five of creation week. Dinosaurs were created on day six. These two groups of creatures have nothing to do with each other, so we don’t expect them to share feathers!
Now could God have created feathered dinos? Of course—he can do whatever he wants! But since these two groups aren’t related and feathers are a defining feature of birds, we don’t expect to see feathers on dinosaurs. And we don’t!
