As a public service to our viewers, VCY America will be providing commercial-free news coverage of the 2024 Republican National Convention that will be held July 15th thru the 18th in our hometown and the community of license for WVCY-FM & WVCY-TV; Milwaukee, Wisconsin. VCY will be offering coverage on the VCY Radio Network, WVCY-TV30 Milwaukee, and VCY.tv including the VCY.tv smartphone and smart TV apps.
Coverage will include commercial-free broadcasting of all Convention Sessions live from the Fiserv Forum over the air to the Milwaukee area on 30.1, as well as cable and satellite, and worldwide on VCY.tv. Whether on traditional ‘rabbit-ears’ television in Milwaukee; on an Android, iPhone, or iPad; or on a Samsung Smart TV or thru a Roku stick – TV30 and VCY.tv will be airing this historic event of the first political convention to be hosted in Milwaukee.
Convention Preview and Wrapup sessions will feature interviews with delegates, thought leaders, policy experts, and more from the VCY studio at the RNC inside the UWM Panther Arena, with our coverage led by former Milwaukee County Acting Sheriff, and now Pastor Richard Schmidt.
Radio listeners on over 135 radio stations will join Jim Schneider and guests for a live on-location broadcast of Crosstalk at 2:00 PM CT (repeated at 8:00 PM CT) from the UWM Panther Arena as well. TV30 & VCY.tv viewers will be able to watch Crosstalk as well most days.
