Does Everyone Stand Before the Great White Throne Judgment or Is It Only for Non-believers?

Welcome to Prophecy Q & A with Jimmy DeYoung!

It is only non-believers who will stand before the Great White Throne Judgment – those people whose names are not written in the Book of Life.

In Revelation 20:11-15, the Lord opens up the Book of Life. There are two sets of books in this passage. The books, plural, have a record of all of the evil deeds that every lost person will do.  The book, singular, is the Book of Life.

In Revelation 3, it says that your name is written in the Book of Life in eternity past and will only be blotted out when you do not receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Those who died without Christ will go to Hades, and death will be delivered up to the Great White Throne Judgment. If your name was not written in the Book of Life, you will be cast into the Lake of Fire.

It is only those who don’t have their name written in the Book of Life because it was blotted out because of the fact that they of their own free will rejected salvation that Jesus so graciously offered to all of us.

There will be a judgment, however, for those who do know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior which is called the Judgment Seat of Christ.

Jimmy DeYoung was a prophecy teacher and journalist who travelled the country and the world educating the Body of Christ of the future events foretold in God’s prophetic Word. His goal was to equip Christians with the knowledge and understanding of what God’s Word says will happen someday soon, so that they can make better decisions today. Dr. DeYoung went home to be with his Savior on August 15, 2021.
